OUR MISSION
Over the two Festival days, students explored local water, science, and
environmental topics that support Next Generation Science Standards. The
Festival teaches youth that they can make a difference in protecting our
water resources and the environment for today, tomorrow and for future
generations. Year after year, teachers return to the Festival with their
classes to engage in this unique educational opportunity.
CLASS REGISTRATION
Participation is limited and coordinated in advance.
Teachers are asked to register individually for their class and are
encouraged to coordinate with their school when submitting registrations.
Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once
capacity is reached, teachers will be directed to register for the waitlist.
Confirmation and waitlist notices will be sent electronically.
Early registration is strongly encouraged.
TEACHER RESOURCES
Consideration to participate in the Festival is dependent on each
teacher's commitment to:
- Create an account and submit an online application for their class.
- Review the
Festival Checklist
prior to the event.
- Complete all required forms, permission slips, and preparations.
- Ensure students follow
Festival guidelines
and conduct themselves respectfully.
Failure to meet these requirements may affect eligibility for current or
future participation.
We look forward to welcoming participating schools to the 2026
Children's Water Education Festival.
